    People of all ages, genders, and nationalities who have made advance reservations are welcome to visit Cheong Wa Dae. However, in the case of bookings made under the category of senior (ages 65 and above), disabled person, veteran, or foreign national, the visitor’s ID or relevant certification will need to be verified in order to ensure fairness. Moreover, reservations made under the general individual and group categories may also require identification, if necessary, so please bring an ID card.

    On the day of your visit, there will be a separate entrance line for persons with reservations in the above-mentioned categories. You may enter upon verification of your reservation information and relevant identification or documentation. ※ Seniors (Ages 65 and above) : resident registration card, driver’s license, or passport ※ Disabled person : disability registration card or welfare card ※ Veterans : registration certificate of national meritorious person ※ Foreign National : passport, alien registration certificate, domestic residence certificate, etc.

    Minors need not show ID if accompanied by a guardian (parent or teacher) and if within the maximum number of applicants.

    Yes, children under age 14 may join a tour if accompanied by a guardian (parent or teacher) to ensure safety.

    In order to provide an equitable application opportunity to all individuals without favoring specific groups, applications are limited to groups of 20 to 50 individuals per organization.

    If you have an alien registration number and a domestic mobile phone number, you can use the reservation page to apply. Also, up to 2,000 people can be issued on-site per day.

    Only those who have made an advance booking through the reservation page of the Cheong Wa Dae website are permitted to visit. However, on-site ticketing is available two times daily (from 09:00 and 13:30) at the Tourist Information Center at the Main Gate for seniors (ages 65 and above), disabled persons, veterans, and foreign nationals. Tickets are available for 2,000 persons at each time.

    The reservation page is updated every Sundaymidnight on a weekly basis, while Cheong Wa Dae remains closed on Tuesdays.

    There is no reservation waiting system in place; however, on-site reservations for up to 2,000 individuals are available, and we kindly suggest you consider inquiring via telephone. (Tourist Information call : 1330)

    You can only make one reservation per person. However, additional reservation can be made after the date of your previously booked visit.
